mementos and minimalism

Minimalism’s application and concepts were intriguing during my last few years at University. Challenging myself for this project, the theme was to overwhelm the reader and gradually minimize the publication as one continues to read. Spreads start out claustrophobic as typography and imagery fill the pages. Eventually, design elements become sparse and imagery more lighter, embracing the negative space left behind. There is a beauty in having less. Both in life and in design.
