Packaging Concept | Water Enhancers

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

One of the more difficult product packaging display that I’ve designed for due to the small principal display. I wanted to prioritize information that was absolutely necessary with an emphasis on readable type and clear flavor indicators.

Small Label, Big Voice

Seeing as how the primary display was only three inches in height, I wanted to put a heavy focus on typography. The name of the product had to be front and center. I experimented with type sizes, hierarchy, and combinations that would suit the Lakanto logo best. The benefit bugs proved to be problematic so I decided on placing them to the left of the bottle.

The Final Result

When I look at other Water Enhancers, they lack the simplicity and vibrancy to stand out on shelving. In my design, all of the essential typographic elements sit in the center of the circle on the packaging with a beautiful mandala radiating out. Type was top priority but additional flavor indicators were needed with the addition of product photography.
